Many of them are highly educated, have had great jobs, decided to settle down have kids & become full time mothers to their children until they feel they are old enough (NOT 7!)Just because some husbands can't keep it in their pants & choose to wander, why does that mean that single mothers have to change their plans about wanting to be at home with their children during the most important years!!!??? .

Coal representatives oppose stream saver bill
On Tuesday and Wednesday, the committee heard from university scientists, coal interests, and people who live in the shadow of mountaintop removal sites and are calling for lawmakers to protect their streams from pollution. The committee took no vote Wednesday night – Moberly said he wanted the full committee on hand before calling the measure for a vote."There needs to be this kind of discussion," Moberly said Wednesday night after two days of testimony on the bill concluded. "That discussion has not been had in the Natural Resources Committee and it it's not going to be had in that committee, then as long as I'm chairman it's going to be discussed here."The bill would require coal operators to put back the spoils or overburden removed to get at the coal – or remove it to another abandoned mine site.
Peter Cochrane's Blog: No risk, no progress
The removal of risk from people's lives is leading to a lack of understanding, imagination and, worst of all, real progress. Recent constraints on the working environment in the UK prompted me to muse on the following proposition. Suppose a health and safety directorate had been the first of all human innovations and institutions. Can you imagine the consequences? I think it goes something like this: no running, climbing, swimming, throwing and definitely no tools or weapons - and certainly no wars. So no progress then. Humans would have been in stasis pretty much like most animals. Let's fast forward to the start of the industrial revolution before we invoke health and safety systems: no large-scale smelting of ores, no engines, no advanced tools or weapons, no wire, no mass-produced glass or anything else, and certainly no telegraph.

Evarts' boys and girls had a tough season, managing only 10 victories between them. Cumberland has enjoyed lots of success in hoops over the years. The boys' program made it to the Sweet Sixteen in 1943 and 2003. Cumberland's girls, under longtime coach John Bond, won All "A" state titles in 1991 and 1992, and reached the Sweet Sixteen in 1984 and 1986. The Lady Redskins' final season ended with a 51-48 home-court loss to Middlesboro in the district semifinals. "It was tough to know that when the game ended, we weren't gonna play anymore," Bond said. "But we played the last game with so much heart that all the girls who've ever worn the maroon and white couldn't have been prouder." Bond has 492 career victories, with all but a handful coming in 26 years at Cumberland.
